I think that the teams that will qualify will be Werder and Benfica and if you compare them with Osasuna I think that if Spurs qualify then play against Osasuna isn't bad.

Its not the football im worried about, its the hooligans in police uniforms.

What?

Yes, the legalized gang of thugs.

Sorry for using a bit of literary licence, wait is that a penalty in your eyes?

Maybe its just a big conspiracy against English clubs that there has been 2 outbreaks of violence in two different countries in the space of 2 days?
I'm sorry but if your not going to be responsible for your own fans actions & place the blame entirely on one side than I dont think you have any right making comments about any of these incidents.

Excuse me? I certainly do I have a RIGHT to comment you pompous [beep!].

I also have chatted to many Spurs fans on a message board a lot like this one and listened to their eye witness accounts of the violence dealt out by the police.

The facts are that there was no trouble vefore the police started charging and hitting people. I agree that the Spurs fans are partly to blame for the trouble as they shouldnt have reacted to the violence with the way they did (throwing chairs and punches etc) but I know if I saw my friends, family, children, women or disabled people being mercilessly batoned by police I would find it hard not to react too.

Oh, Well I guess if the Spurs fans said something it must be true. We all know the Spurs fans are always right.

Like I said I can only go by what Ive seen & not what Ive been told because I dont know if its true. Can you show pictures or clips or anything of these women & children being hit?

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. These Spurs fans were jsut catching up with each other on a messageboard closed to the public and relaying their experiences of the game. Some of these posters I (internet) know quite well and I see no reason why they would lie about it. They were also very honest about the Spurs fans violent reaction to the police but all independently stated it as a reaction to the women and disabled being beaten etc.

So you are only going by what youve seen on the tele and youre saying I have no right to comment?

As for the pics and vids, many have already been uploaded to Youtube by people, you can see them there. The ones ive seen on the mb arent being put in the public domain yet as Spurs (the club) have asked for all footage fans took etc to be sent to them so they can compile evidence to be given to UEFA.

Did I say you have no right to comment. No I did not say that. I said if your going to place the balme to one side & be totally biased about the situation which you virtual were then there is no point in you commenting.

To be honest tdv, I don't think that Jono was biased in his comments about the situation. He's simply stating what he knows according to sources which he trusts.
Hold on a second, I'm a Spurs fan so it's possible that I'm biased in saying that Jono isn't biased. Confused

Perhaps we should get back to footballing matters.

Well put.

This second game is going to be a tough match, although I know many Spurs fans who have already booked flights for Osasuna ( Laughing )

Sevilla will sit back and try to get at us on the counterattack, classic tactics away from home especially when you already have a lead from the first leg.

It is up to us to break them down, we have to go out there with the most attacking lineup possible.

Robbo
Chimbonda King Dawson Lee
Lennon JJ Zokora Malbranque
Barbatov Keane

No Ghaly, no Defoe, No Hudd, please.

In related news ive heard King will be back for the game, YP Lee is supposedly out for three months but will play this game first Confused , ive heard a lot of conflicting reports on this so dont know what the story is. If hes out the I guess Ifil will have to play there, Ekotto will be back from injury for the Arsenal game.
