Hi I'm from the damp little island of Britain I'm hoping to move to Australia someday and I can't wait to go to the new melbourne stadium when it's finished, it looks amazing. I follow the team, but I've never been to a game obviously with it being quite a walk. That will soon change if my dream of moving to australia comes true. Can't wait. I guess I'll just have to study hard and hope that you lovely people let me in.

melbourne needs a 40k football stadium not the 20k they intend to build. we r allready getting 32k at the dome on a good basis.

Wellington Pheonix will play here at Westpac Stadium, also known by many as "The Cake Tin'. it is currently home to the Wellington Hurricanes Rugby Union team.
i wonder if they will get decent crowds? i hope they do Go Jets |

I hate stadiums like that, you're too far away from the action.

I agree, unfortunatley, there aren't that many good 'soccer' stadiums in australasia. i reckon, suncorp, aussie and energy australia are the best in the country. telsradome is amazing but not made for 'soccer'. In wellington that is THE only stadium that would be worth playing at. they get big crowds for the rugby there and that is the same deal (with the ccrowd being far from the action.) so maybe it will be okay. |
