He got the ball first! The ball was taken away from the player. No matter what happened, the striker wouldn't have got to the ball again before another player cleared it. I can't believe you think that's a peno.

Are you serious?!

The keeper got hands to the ball but he left his hands out there & got the player. He was lucky not to be sent off. We see much worse in the Premiership, like Ronaldo's dive at White Hart Lane a few months ago.

HAHAHAHAHA He is serious! No wait, is this a late april fools joke?

get out of it. no chance mate. you can see his hands push the ball in completly the opposite way to where the sevilla player was running. doesnt matter if he left his hands there. he's not exactly going to pull them away instantly. good save by robbo, Spurs were hard done by tonight.

unluky for tonight, i hope you progress through to the semi's.

I think despite the referees terrible performance tonight, we should be happy taking this sort of scoreline into the home tie. The penalty decision, yeah, it was diabolical, but these things happen, and full credit to our boys for shutting Sevilla out in the 2nd half and preventing them from scoring the 3rd goal they were so desperately trying to find.

Shame we didn't see much of berbs tonight, he had maybe his toughest game in a Spurs shirt tonight against the impressive javi navarro, but was great to see Zokora and micky dawson put in such comitted performances as ever.

Really think we can beat them at home, it'll be interesting to see how they deal with our fans, though hopefully if they don't act like they did in spain tonight.

He doesn't want to jeopardise his move to United by getting injured, he's just taking it easy.

you may have a point there mate, but he's the sort of player who won't move after one season with a club. Coming to Spurs was not only a footballing choice but a career choice too, and i'm confident his interests in playing for a club on the rise whilst settling and enjoying life in london will contribute to him not leaving.

Typical optimistic greedy utd fan!

Dont worry Towner, Forev is just on the wind up.

Im still confident we can progress taking that 2-1 scoreline back to the lane.

Does anyone know if it will be the same referee for the second leg? Does UEFA work like that?

Think Chimmy is ok to play from what ive heard now. The decision is the other fullback. Tainio or Ifil at left back or Chim at leftback and ifil at rightback.

For me id put Tainio at left back, hes intelligent and tough enough to do a job for us there for one game.

My lineup would be:

_________Robbo
Chimmy King Daws Tainio
Lennon JJ Zok Malbranque
______Keane Berbie

We can go thru with that team, Steed and Lennon charging at their respective fullbacks, Zokora making those forward bombs and the two strikers playing off him.

[beep!] im nervous!! This is a huge game for us, whoever wins it wil be overwhelming favourites to go all the way in my opinion, Sevilla is the best team left in the competition apart from us.

COME ON YOU Spurs!!!!!!!

Gonna tune in for this beastie boy. Think it could be a top European night at the ol' WHL. Hope Spurs can get through.

Ive had a quid on 3-1 to Spurs. The score-line is the same as The United Roma one, So we could see a high-tempo start from Spurs to try and claw back the aggregate score.

Aye, we have to and will come out of the blocks firing, the only thing is do we put away the chances we have in this game???

That is the big question, taking our chances will be key.

We bottled it, Sevilla are playing really well, this is why they are going to win La Liga and the UEFA Cup.

Good game.
