Mourinho : reveals wish list

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has targeted three new summer signings to boost the newly-crowned Premiership champions' squad.
Mourinho said: "The priority is to keep the champions and make sure you don't lose the important players. This club has the conditions for that.

"We will keep our group of champions and improve it."

Mourinho revealed his main targets are a new left-back, a midfield player and new striker for next season.

He told the Evening Standard newspaper: "To win the championship after 50 years was a fantastic achievement. We must look forward now to win more silverware, not after another half a century but year after year.

"If we look at the left-back position for example, we have only Wayne Bridge. We can improve on that place before next season.

"When you look at the attacking players we can say we need another one. In midfield we can keep them all and maybe add another one.

"To win the Premiership and prove we are the best makes me very happy. We are a young group who have worked together just this season."

adriano, del horno, xavi, joaquin, zambrotta, manuel fernandes, kakha kaladze, marek jankulovski have all been mentioned with steven gerrard, ashley cole looking unlikely now.

rio ferdinand is a tricky one as hes stalling over a contract which makes us assume he wants a move....

Apparently he only wants 3 playes and all to be English. And Crespo is likely to stay as he wished he would love to !

When is someone going to stop the mad russian and his portuguese sidekick Mourinho??? i mean, when do the players realise that footy isn't all about the money and that they shouldn't sign for Chelski?? coz if u are not the world's best at that position you will soon be sitting on the bench... plus i wouldn't like to work with someone like Mourinho, but that is personal...

i doubt it that all 3 players will be english, maybee 2 but not 3.

And Chelsea win things now and they have ambition as well as playing in the worlds best league, so its not about the money all the time is it...

'll tell you what though, if you gave me £200m or so to spend over 2 seasons, i would have won the quadruple already! (I definately wouldnt have spent 30 odd million on drogba!). People seem to think that Chelsea are the greatest thing since sliced bread, that the new manager has worked wonders, but i can tell you now, just about anything on this earth is possible with £200m. As far as im concerned Chelsea getting knocked out of the Champions League was the best thing that could have possibly happened. I must admit, they will be a force to be reckoned with, but this can only be bad for the beautiful game. I mean, overnight, eveybody i know seems to have converted to Chelsea fans!

Back to the original topic (boy, did i stray off or what...) i sincerely hope players have the common sense to turn £6m a season down. (Doubt i could...) At the end of the day, people are gonna look back and realise, that Chelsea were champions because of a certain mr. Abramovic. I just cant wait till he finds somewhere else to flash his money around, and jumps board. That will be the day! Mark my words, that'll be the day....

You cant put it all down to money though......

it take skill to ghel a team together so quickly and to get them playing well with each other.
