I've had it with Newcastle, if we're gonna keep faltering, then we cannot pussyfoot around with Owen.

If hes ready, don't fanny about! get him playing cus we're leaking goals and not scoring!

rush him and he will more than likely get injured again. and with our luck it will be another season out.

we're not going down and we're not going to get any european spots, so we might as well play it safe for next season.

i agree with tom, last thing we want is another lengthy injury! i think the solution is for us to be looking for an experienced and qualified manager to replace roeder on the last day of the season, then he has the close season to buy and sell and get the team playing together, if we don't i can see us sacking roeder half way through next season and it will be yet another wasted campaign.

what risk

hes no longer injured, there would be no risk.

Don't rush him back. We have made that mistake far too many times.

Owen is 50/50 for the match on sunday against Chelsea. tbh i dont want him playing. in the reports ive read about it, he has had a groin strain recently, and knowing our luck if he plays then he'll tear it. give it a week or so i reckon.

BBC are reporting that his first game back will probably be against Reading at the end of April. I'd much prefer that tbh.

To get Owen back from his injury will be a huge lift for the team. But is he still as good as he used to be? He have been out for a very long time, you know. We cant expect to much from him, not to begin with.
