Alan Shearer would be in my top five quality strikers even if i was not a Toon fan! Dirty - What about some of the centre halves he has played against over the years! I cannot agree with you mate but opinions are totally allowed! |

There is a big difference in challenging for the ball and knocking someone . . . to looking at the player and smacking him in the face !

Thats why I asked who it was aimed at lol.
I certainly think Shearer has been great for the game over the years, and deserves more respect than that. He has been a good solid center forward. I wouldnt say he was dirty - just doesnt get bossed around in the box. |

sorry but my dislike of shearer goes back to our semi final at Old Trafford (blades 0 Newcastle 1,after the game as he walked towards the tunnel he made certain gestures to the blades fans,ok it was only in celebration but its the type of thing you'd do to your own fans not the opposition.i just took an instant dislike to him after that.
