Amazing but typical! Getting information about games is often really tricky unless you have an inside link to the club. I watch lots of games in many leagues and never feel sure the game is on till I have seen the teams warming up on the pitch. Went to Wolves on Sunday and found the game was being played 10 miles away from where it was advertised. This was in the Prem! Always try to get to the ground early for that reason!

Yeah typical is the word that springs to mind. I mean yeah as you said if information is hard to obtain and rely on for the top level what chance do we have at this level ?!

Just had a chance to check the Aldershot website and indeed you are correct Pat51 the supposed "home fixture" for Reading FC Ladies was changed without a words notice on the Reading Ladies website presumably in Farnborough. Not a bad result for are girls though holding the shots to a 1-1 draw.

Shots equalize with a last minute twice taken penalty...nearly an away double!

Agonizingly close by the sounds of things. I wish we could have kept us this level of fight and spirit all season. Thank God anyway that there is a team considerably worse in this league - Carterton!

I'm off topic a bit, but it seems you need a bit of ingenuity to get to some games, like Spikeyd showed for today Wink

Safety! With the table being updated for the past few weeks i can reveal that Reading FC Ladies can no longer be relegated!!!!!!!!! We currently lie 10th in the table of 11 but with Carterton below us with no points and a goal difference of -134 we are safe!

It is indeed Very Happy

Although we have only mustered up only 12 points this season i think, with the right funding and the right players we can use this as a startting point for a brighter future.

You have to feel sorry for Carterton though relegated with only one draw and no wins all season.... Only to have that 1 solitary point deducted and a goal difference of -134

Good news for you mate - but not for Carterton.

I bet if they play at Arsenal they'd fluke a win though Laughing

Reading Women. Reading Royals play in a league not to far below the Premiership.
