The latest name in the race to become Hearts manager is Claudio Ranieri who has apparently met with Vladimir Romanov and is very impressed.

Hungary coach Lothar Matthaus is thought to be interested in the post, along with former Parma boss Nevio Scala.

Hearts are also keen to talk to sacked Republic of Ireland boss Brian Kerr.

so who is your guess for the job??

I'd like Sir Bobby to get it, but Ranieri will probably get it.

It's a shame George Burley left so soon though, but that's football.

Reports today suggest Hearts are keen to talk to Kevin Keegan about the position.

***
Former England manager Kevin Keegan has been approached by Hearts as they continue their search for a new boss.

It is believed that Keegan was on Hearts' shorlist in the summer before the appointment of George Burley.

The Edinburgh club now want to talk again to the former Manchester City and Newcastle United boss.

Sir Bobby Robson is still in the running, but Claudio Ranieri has priced himself out of the frame.

He might do a good job there. Even though I dont think he is a great manager - I still like the guy - and loved the Newcastle team he built to challange United.
