Shocked Shocked Shocked Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Getafe have just beaten Barcelona in the second leg of the semi-final of Copa del Rey (Barcelona beat them 5-2 in the Camp Nou). So the final will be Getafe VS Sevilla.

Barcelona have been pure c r a p during the match, reminded me of Real Madrid in the past season when we lost against Zaragoza. Excellent match from Getafe though, who could have scored more easily.

Edit: Barcelona played with all their stars but Messi and Valdes. Puyol was probably the worst Puyol ever, Ronaldinho did nothing in the whole match and Eto'o missed a clear ocassion.

So Messi's magnificent goal in the first leg basically means nothing now.

I can't believe that in 90 minutes of football they weren't able to score 1 goal against a team they scored 5 on a couple of weeks ago.

It was an amazing game, thought Gatafe played as a team and it showed. Think they defended really well. They have a few useful players which may alert other clubs come the summer

I watched the full game later last night, they totally outplayed Barca, could easily have scored another few, Guiza missed at least 3 clear chances. Its great to see a small club like getafe making the final like this

The game of Barça players was lamentable and pathetic. And now will lose La Liga because they won't win against Atletico and perhaps won't win any of the other 4 games. A season that could be good will be bad. Barça will need to change some important players this summer.

You should definitly get rid of Ronalinho, hes just been terrible this season and contributed nothing. You really need a few determined players at the club, most of them - like Ronaldinho, Deco etc arent much good when the team is losing and need to grind out a result

Exactly Ronaldinho and Deco shouldn't be at Barça next season. For what I have read Eto'o or Ronaldinho or both won't be at Barça next season. I would prefer that Eto'o stayed, but if we have to sell him then try to get a lot of money for him. But Henry shouldn't be the substitute of Eto'o. A player that is 30 years old can't be the substitute of a player that is 25 or 26 years old. Still that we sign Henry we should sign another striker. And I would change the coach too. Rijkaard has been terrible this season. This team has been good during 2 or 3 seasons but their time at Barça has finished.

Yeah Rijkaard has been really poor, hes made some really poor decisions and hasnt been strong enough to drop Ronaldinho. Last night too he brought off Olegeur and put on Gudjohnsson which made the defence completely fall apart

I vote they should get rid of eto'o. Honestly he has not impressed me at all.

As for Ronaldinho, he is a precursor to beckham pattern.

Raul, I knew you will be salivating about this result. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
But you forgot to mention Thuram. He is one of our stars.
Rijkaard blew it up when he decided to rest Thuram. Everyone knows how our defense is shaky without Thuram. Knowing that we can't defend a 3 goals lead is very pathetic.
Credits to getafe players because despite their disavantages they believe in themselves.
MaxP, Eto'o is hot headed; no doubt about that. But I have to question your knowledge about football if you say he has not impressed you. Bear in mind that he was fighting an injury all this season.
Anyways, what a season! We started it hoping to win 7 trophies, but I am afraid we will end up with none.
The problem is not our attack. It lays in our defense. Rijkaard to be blamed because he has been rotating the defense since the beginning.
Barcelona should keep R.E.M and look for holding midfielders of the like of Makelele or Macherano. We need a CB and a RB.

Well perhaps I should be more clearer and say that he has not impressed me recently. I mean I know you like him but to me he simply lacked something. It could have been due to the injure or something else, whatever the reason I felt he wasnt playing at his fullest. Perhaps he needs a change in teams to get him going again. I think he should come to Italia.

Eto'o won't be totally recovered till next season. The problem of Barça is that when you don't work well in the trainings during the week and you don't have the motivation to win the titles then is really difficult to win the titles again. Most of the away games of this season have been Barça playing poor but a good action of one of the players has saved the team. And Barça have lost a lot of games away but while Real Madrid and Sevilla lost points too then it wasn't a problem. Now that Real Madrid have started to win the games then the poor Barça games have become a big problem.

Yeah: Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions League, Spanish supercup, european supercup, club worldcup and...Toyota cup? I think it's those 7.

And I'd sack Ronaldinho, but not Eto'o. Eto'o has showed motivation and has been one of the best players of Barcelona this season, only improved by Iniesta in my opinion.
Oleguer is one of the lamest defenders I've seen and Puyol has had a bad patch since his father died. Thuram has needed a lot of time to adapt spanish football (like Cannavaro and Emerson in Madrid or even Zambrotta in the Barcelona).

But I'm disappointed with Ronaldinho. Nobody doubts he's top quality but he has showed no proffesionality at all.
