Was it right to get rid of Bramble? I thought he was quite good but inconsistencies in his form let him down. What do you think?

he was diabolical, he on occasions cost us games single handedly! yet Roeder deemed him better than onyewu at the latter part of the season!..Bramble had raw potential, could never reach it tho! He lacked the mental skills! which are vital at this level!

how can u say he was quite good? he was a bloody mess, about time we got rid of him. not happy about onyewu not gettin signed, i thought he was a good, strong, reliable defender.

I think he took the rap, he was the scapegoat for a bad season. I bet if we were scoring 3 goals and letting in 1 or 2 no one would have noticed. It was because we weren't scoring goals that the defence was being blamed.
Take a look at Spurs. Did they get the [beep!] taken out of them for their defence. Oh no but they let in 22 goals at home and 32 away. We let in 20 goals and 27 away. It is the fact we were not scoring goals and winning games is why we were in the position we were. |
