wahoo! just got back from the Arsenal ladies match!!

bring on the semis!

it was fab as always, but completely freezing. i felt sorry for the players, they got absolutely drenched!!

and i had a right mare of a day. first i tried to get out of my house and realised the door was jammed.......... so i had to climb out of the window and jump into the big shrubbery bush thing! looked a right idiot in front of the taxi driver, who laughed at me all the way to the station!

then the rail tracks were being fixed at swansea so i had to get a coach to cardiff, then a train to london paddington.......... which was mega delayed so i missed my connection. then got on a tube which only went one stop..... then got on a random tube, which luckily turned out to be the right one! got to a station, got on another train and got to elstree and borehamwood. there were no taxis anywhere to be seen so i set of on a 300 mile hike to the ground in the rain..... got lost...... couldn't find the entrance..... then went in the entrance and arrived 20 minutes late. bloody public transport Mad

anyway the match was ace and we kicked ass in the second half!

then i managed to get on the right trains and tubes back to paddington and got on my train, which was delayed, so finally got home just now!

talk about effort! im knackered!!

lovin it tho!! Very Happy

Was a that game too.

Couldnt believe the conditions.

And you have to say the away team did well to hold them for the first half but then there was that brief second half on slaught!

Worrying that Alex Scott got carried off?

Oh and there is a taxi rank right next to the train station at Borehamwood, and yes it is annoying that they now only have one entrance/exit to the ground!

Yes, Bristol were not playing bad in the first half.
They had a few shots on goal, Emma had some work to do Wink
But wtf was that moment when suddenly Arsenal had switched positions
and I saw Kelly defending (!) and Faye was on the other side of the pitch! Laughing
I guess great players can do everything Cool

Not heard anything but i saw Smith back as the last man defending and said to my mate that they need eleven Smiths! Her passion is second to none.

Infact me and a friend wondered why she isnt the face of Womens footy and instead Yanks is?

I guess its cos she has been over seas?

But she is the best player by farrrr!

LOL! Laughing
OK let's not exaggerate, Arsenal is filled with great players! Cool
But if they had 3 or 4 Smiths, it wouldn't hurt Mr. Green
