Which teams do you think will go down ?

I beleive Colchester, Blackpool and Scunthorpe.

Colchester have lost the core of there team with Iwelumo and Cureton. They seemed to be the two players that were carrying Colchester along with solid defender Chris Barker who they failed to sign on a full bases. There is a lot of work now to do by Williams, lets see how good he can cope this year.

Blackpool have been slow in the transfer market up to now, and if they can keep hold of Keigan Parker, which I think they have so far, they may have a good go at survival but I think it will be up to him and his goals to keep Colchester up.

Scunthorpe have lost there top scorer in Billy Sharp and I thought it would have all been down to his goals to keep them up, so without Keogh and Sharp there deadly strike force, they now struggle for a top goalscorer.

22nd - Barnsley

I didn't think they'd survive the first season in the Championship but they proved me wrong. I don't think they'll stay up this time though. Second season is often harder than the first and I don't think they've made to many signings (not sure though).

23rd - Blackpool

24th - Scunthorpe

As you said James, with the loss of Sharp it'll be tough to score goals for them. I don't know much else about them so i'll put them in last place.

22. Scunthorpe - As has been said the departure of the two forwards Keogh and importantly Billy Sharp will leave a lot to be desired in the striking department at Scunny, whilst the team in general in my opinion lacks the quality of players to survive in the Championship. Although i am sure that they will bring great fight, determination and team spirit to the league i am not sure whether this will be enough. Had Laws, Keogh and Sharp remained with the club on their Championship quest then perhaps things may have been different with regards to this prediction.

23. Colchester - I agree greatly that the departure of the to most influential causes of such a great season last year Jamie Cureton and Chris Iwelumo and the failure to secure the equally influential Chris Barker on a permanent basis could see them make a bad start to the season, from which i don't believe they will recover. Once the losing begins and the team cement their place close to the bottom of the league i think maybe the crowds at the tiny Layer Road may begin to drift off, leaving them in real trouble.

24. Blackpool - My definite favourites to finish at the very bottom of the Championship. The more i look at the squad they have to compete in the Championship the moor i think some very heavy strengthening will be required if they are to stay in the league.

Wise words my friend, wise words. Wink The only one I might add to that list, depending upon how they start, is QPR.
