Wigan striker Jason Roberts has revealed he played with a broken leg for part of the game which sealed Wigan's promotion into the Premiership.
Roberts, 27, fractured his fibula early on in the win over Reading, but played on and scored a goal and set one up.

He limped off in the 63rd minute and he recalled: "I took a knock and ended up fracturing my fibula.

"I didn't even know I'd done it until Tuesday, although I was obviously in a lot of pain."

Former Bristol Rovers striker Roberts added: "It's going to take six weeks to recover, but I'm confident I'll be fit for the start of pre-season training."

"I've got to keep the weight off it for six weeks so I'm going home to Grenada to relax."
