Yay the footballs back already!
Spurs start their preseason campaign away against Stevenage today. THE LINE-UPS Stevenage Borough: Julian, Fuller, Nutter, Lewis, Henry, Gaia, Lawson, Allen, Hakim, Miller, Cole. Spurs: Cerny, Ifil, Daniels, Rocha, Gardner, Murphy, Malbranque, O'Hara, Taarabt, Keane, Bent. Subs: Forecast, Mills, Hughton, Barcham, Maghoma, Livermore, Riley. Good to see Taarabt in there! |

Wooooot Bent gets a goal on debut wins a penalty, but from what the skysports reporter has been saying 1 of the goal scorers Taarabt was easily man of the match, really energetic and had some quality aswell, i hope taarabt plays most of our preseason to impress MJ so will have more of a chance in first team for next season.

Thanks for that Jonno - a lot of people would disagree, but I love pre-season, start to get the taste for the new season ahead!
Great to see Bent get off the mark in his first game...okay okay, it was only Stevenage, but you know what its like if you draw a blank in your first match...then second...then the pressure builds. I hope he transfers that bright start to his proper debut when it comes. |

our remarkable 100 percent record continues, thnx to goals by bent and routledge was it, and my freind told which i didnt realise than kaboul is a gd freekick taker and he it the woodwork from 1, gd job boys.
Another gd peformance from taarabt, accompanied by good solid pefromance right across the pitch. There goal was a wait for it pen/save pen/save pen/goal. Cerny saved twice but ref says he came off his line which is probably true and he made them take them again. Cmon you Spurs!!! |
