i had a team like that but with Drogba instead of Rooney. well last season i did loads of teams, McCarthy and Drogba were in a lot of them.

having Rooney is good though, because even when he doesn't play well he gets a lot of points. he gets bumed. i think last season he had about as many points as drogba, even though drogba was much better.

gerrard gets bumed as well.

i all of those defenders in a lot of my teams. they got loads of points. as did distin and yobbo.
