Petrov ready for new Celtic deal |

Celtic midfielder Stilian Petrov says he is ready to sign a new contract.
He said: "I have had a few conversations with Celtic and in the next few weeks we'll meet again and see what is going to happen. I've always been happy to play for this club and I'll continue on like that. "I've already told Celtic they'll be the first I speak to and find out what they're thinking and what they're trying to do. We'll then see if we are going to come to an agreement. This is excellent news for celtic because he is our best player in years plus the man who the future will be built around. |

Yes he is definately our best player by far, he has been playing out of his skin this season!

He has been one of Celtic's best players over the last number of years and I'm sure that will be a major signing for Celtic, no teams want to be losing their best players. I thought Petrov would have moved on to pastures new over the past several seasons because i feel that he is 'too good' for the Scottish league and if he was to hand in a transfer request there would be no shortage of offers coming from major clubs in europe and indeed the Premiership.
I myself support Manchester United but Celtic would be my preferred Scottish team, I've been to watch them once and it was a great atmosphere and they won 5-1 against i think it was Kilmarnock. It's good to see them back on top of the league and I'm liking the way Hearts have come into the picture this year, it can only mean good things for the SPL. Up the Celts! |
