Transfers update

Ok, so Bale, Bent and Kaboul done.

Thats three of the five positions Jol said he wanted to fill this window, the other two being left winger and center midfield.

ITK guy is back from holiday so has some news:

We know we can get Petrov but looking at other optionslike SWP. Chelsea looking for silly money but its who jol wants because it gives him options of playing him when lennon is sulky or injured and also gives him optons playing SWP on the left or behind front two.Chimbonda again we are open to options if Chelsea are back in again we possibly would do deal but we dont want to be left by aug 30th with just Stalteri...the likelhood imo is we will end up with petrov in a few weeks, jol does rate petrov but would rather swp......

defoe is a wierd one he is totally f**ked of with way jol has treated him but loves the club a lot he really does but he does want to go because wants to play.sky andrew obvioulsy telling him maybe to see contract out Spurs as many people has said want him to sign a new deal so we can ever sell later on and not loose the doe...long term JD will not be at Spurs i was told few weeks ago not this summer but thats all down to defoe ever running deal out or deciding to move to a team now.

The Hertha guy (boateng - see my post in transfer section) i have not heard anything about yet.

Mido proving so hard to get rid of because they have to match his wages and he likes London and for Fulham (only london club been interested) he wanted silly money.

we definatly need a left mid simple as that, havent seen petrov play but he does sound gd andhopefully then he'll link up well with berbs

I heard of chimbonda goes to Chelsea we'll get swp and glen johnson.

Yea thats whats been rumoured but I dont think Spurs would go for that. We want SWP but dont want to be left with Johnson and Stalteri as our right backs, would be a huge step backwards in our defence.

Looks like Chelsea are going to get Alves anyway, lets hope so cvos then they wont need Chimmy.

jono u know if we still want swp coz thats 1 of the things we missed wen we play sunderland a winger with pace, swp can play left and come inside and shoot coz he can shoot very well.

From what ive told we are all done in the transfer market, bar a opportunistic last minute buy.

Comolli thinks the squad is fine

well if we dnt sign ne more players in positions we are lackign like a attacking midfield or left mid i think we may actually b looking at 6th at best.

coz we have so many injuries and now lack of creativity and pace.

i think taarabt needs to play now coz we have no pace at all when lennons injured.

we shall see how we do against Everton but im not sure our squad on paper looks quite bad without king lennon ne recpgnised left back.

ps. petrov looked quality for man city jol what were u thinking.
