Ana Paula Oliveira - Brazilian international referee
can as of today ref only the league games
- this is the punishment for posing for Playboy,
because the Brazilian Football Association decided
she has now chosen a different career by doing the photo shoot.
She wanted to be one of the refs at the upcoming WC
and her lawyers say she might still be as she'll be apealling at FIFA.

What do you guys think about it? Wink

Imo, that is too harsh! It's her choice what she wants to do. It may get more people at the game, for the wrong reason, though they might see a game and change their mind.

I can't blame her for getting a new career, I may not have chosen that one but still I bet she doesn't get paid well from the Brazilian FA!n

I saw the picture, she is very pretty. I am not sure she is been treated fairly about it.

I'd need to see the pictures 1st.

Probably not what they are after, but would attract a male audience to the matches perhaps?

I wouldn't mind but can see why they fired her.

Well, after looking at the picture, I can't see anything wrong with it.

Hmmm. I wonder if the person who fired her was old and wrinkly.

It's all about how good a referee she is. Obvioulsy, can tell she has other talents.

She shouldn't of been demoted just for that , it has nowt to do with her job on the pitch. Hope she gets reinstated.
