The season came to a close with a 4-0 defeat at rivals and League Champions Reading Women at home on the 10th May. A 10th placed finish.

Never fear ladies, and Twm, Wink For i am back!!! I apologize for my seeming neglect of this section on in the passing weeks i just sort of forgot it was here!

But i return baring good news!!!!!!! Although we finished tenth in the league and should have been relegated as Carterton were, but due to a vacancy in the Premier Division this year, Reading Ladies will not be relegated for this season and will continue in the Premier Division for 2007/08.!!!!!!!!!!

RESULT!

I do hope they do well Floody, they should get more interest from better players if they are going into a better league Cool

Will you be seeing any games this season then?

Hopefully i will be going to see all of the home games that don't clash with any Reading games.

We aren't going into a better league, we were supposed to be relegated from our league but for whatever reason that would have left a vacancy so we are permitted to remain in the division! Going down to the dreaded league below would have been so hard to take.

I might even do a few of the close by away trips again providing they don't clash with any Reading games. Such as Slough maybe and Aldershot.

Well done Reading Ladies! Cool

Floody, you have to post the schedule as soon as it is announced,
so I can go to a game some time when I'm in the UK maybe
(if ALFC don't play at the same time) Wink

I certainly will!

Shouldn't be too long until it is announced i shouldn't think.

I'm quite fortunate really to live under half a mile from where the Ladies play.
