I'm OT here - but I just noticed that JM, floody and me all joined here on 12th April (although I was a year earlier).

I will use all my authority here and declare 12th April next year as a one-off official national holiday Smile

After that, we can be like Queen Liz and change if from year to year Wink

Surprised Great!

So, Mr.Flood have you looked in that pink fluffy calendar of yours, to see what games you are able to go to?

PINK?! How dare you insult my Masculinity like that........

It's more of a gentle lilac actually Wink

But no i haven't as of yet although it might take a while while i attempt not only to pick out the ones that don't clash with Reading home games i have to check both fixture lists against each other and figure out which Reading away games i am going to go to! Aaah!

Although the Ladies play on A Sunday so i shall be going to a fair few, when the Royals are playing on the Saturday. I live less than half a mile from where the Ladies play as well, which is a help!

I'm sure the lilac doesn't clash with that purple hand bag you showed me Cool

That's great, hope you get a free Sunday and pop down to see them Wink Don't forget to report back, eh? Smile

There is a serious problem with the ladies website currently and although we are supposed to have completed 4 or 5 league fixtures and two opening cup rounds by now, it only displays our opening game result, a game i wasn't able to attend away at Oxford.

A game in which we lost 9-1.

Not the ideal start to a fresh campaign.

I saw they lost 18 (eighteen)-0 at Aldershot in the League Cup last week. Probably a weakened team for a mickey mouse cup ?

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

18-0?!

Dear O Dear, that really does shock me. As i said there are bad problems with the Website at the moment so the 9-1 defeat to Oxford United is all i know about but that result appalls me it really does, we have a very small squad so i don't really know if that much of a weakened team is that possible!

If it was a first team however i am genuinely alarmed.

I would of expected them to beat Aldershot Shocked to lose 18-0 is really embrassing for them. I wonder what squad was put out.

We did very well in the League against Aldershot last season so it is horrible. We've lost a few players over the summer and i am embarassed.

I'm not surprised your embarrassed , if it had been one of the big teams I could of understood it . Although you lost some player's surely there's enough talent there to put in a performance of some standard.

As i said though i didn't get to see the game although of course 18-0 is an embarrassment. It was the League Cup so as Pat said maybe a few of the key first team players were not playing as survival must once again be our main priority after escaping relegation by the skin of our teeth last season.

Other results from the Fair Game fixtures and results section- 0-9 against Southampton F C AND 0-14 against Launton. Looks like another team which has lost players over the summer, just like Reading Royals in the Prem. Even worse the fixture list on fg has them playing TWO games at the same time this Sunday one at home and one away- no wonder they're struggling!

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Im just shocked. We have lost a few over the Summer and its obviously vastly damaging the morale and the form of the Ladies. Going down would be catastrophic, but if these results continue to hit hard like they are doing i can't see us escaping it, i really can't.
