Wolves are poised to sign Sunderland striker Stephen Elliott on a three year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old Irish international has flown out to Dublin to join up with the squad on their pre-season tour.

This can only be a good thing, plenty of competition for places up front now!!
Just hope Elliott can stay injury free.

Fantastic signing if he can stay away from injuries he was linked with us as part of the deal which would of took Nugent to Sunderland but that never came off.

I have been very impressed with Wolves and the signings that Big Mick has brought in up to now.
