i don't understand why people don't rate eni, she's obviously the fastest forward in the league, skillful and what's wrong with being direct. In my opinion she's better than Julie who when I watched the UEFA final clearly lacked pace.
I don't rate Eni either
From my point of view all she has is speed - take that away and what have you got? Not much.
Fleets' goals to cap ratio for her National Team speaks volumes
- she does what is expected of her: score goals
I just don't see Eni doing that consistantly at the highest level.

i'm glad im not the only one that doesn't rate eni and how can you compare eni to fleets 2 completely different players what fleets lacks in pace she more than makes up for in talent and goal totals where as eni has erm pace yeah but not much else i agree with agent smith she was promising in euro 2005 but hasn't really delivered she needs to learn that you sometimes need to make the goals yourself and not rely on your midfielder but all that said i think she will do well for Chelsea but to the whole fleets Vs Aluko thing lets just see who ends up scoring the more goals this season hey Wink

They're both strikers, but that's where the similarities end.

but what sickens me is when people say Natasha Dowie is better than Eni now that is just a joke, the girl is just a boxer on the pitch hence not many teams wanting to sign her

Do you mean she is just there to fight the opposition or she is barking like a dog
I think Dowie is a more intelligent player.

Thanks for the info- they are so useless at publicising their games that fans have to on word of mouth to find out. I would have gone to the Palace game had I known it was going on but that was the first I knew of it- the day after it happened!

2-0 Chelsea goals number 9 ? and Sian Larkin
Quite weird to see so many former Arsenal and Charlton players in the blue shirt.

I have seen Chelsea twice this season and I can say there has been an improvement compared to last season. Obviously they made a strong recruitment drive with loads of England and England U19 players arriving : Chamberlain Stoney Aluko, Rafferty Larkin Buet Gurr and Smith , added to the good players they already had like Davies Perry Edwards Susi and White.

I think it is just a matter of time before they gel together and start performing properly. I would also theire fitness level has to go up as in both games they ended
up dropping physically as early as the 50th minutes.
They have started to play a more mature possession game and have a very tight defensive block but as soon as they tire it just goes AWOL and oppostion can find wholes everywhere on the pitch. They also have Aluko who is a player that ask for a very direct game and that goes well with fast player like Susi and White but is detrimental to a more possesion oriented game.

I was at the Chelsea - Charlton game and the overall impression of the Chelsea I have is they have
'' le cul entre deux chaises'' as we say in French. It means they are caught between two mind/ways of playing football.
A player like Aluko with her pace ask for direct football but at the same time they
also try to play the ball possession game. It is very difficult to find a fine balance between those
two kind of football as direct and fast game brings reward more easily than the other one
but is less sustainable over a game as it consumes a lot of energy.

As I said somewhere else Chelsea has now a full international England & England Youth team :

GK : Chamberlain
DF : Larkin U23 , Stoney, Davies U23, Perry U23
MF : Edwards U19, Buet U23, Rafferty U19
FW : White U19, Susi U23, Aluko
plus Jess Smith who is an excellent defensive midfield and a few other quality youngsters like Charlotte Gurr.

Wasnt just reporting that, but I got shocked that they were in the paper, so just forgot the rest. Something about how they apologised to the team. Rightly so too. These England pros should set an example. Disgusting behaviour.
