Juan Sebastian Veron says he wants to stay at Inter Milan when his loan from Chelsea expires in the summer.
But he admitted his future may depend upon what happens to players such as Adriano, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. "I think I'll remain at Inter but if Roman Abramovich intends to take me back there's nothing I can do about it," said the 30-year-old. "I really don't know what the situation is at the moment." The Argentine midfielder only played a handful of games for Chelsea after his £15m move from Manchester United in August 2003, before joining Inter on a season-long loan in July 2004. Adriano has been one of Inter's biggest success of the season and Veron said it was only to be expected if he attracted interest from other sides in the summer. "I wouldn't be surprised if teams came in for him," he said. "It's clear that if Chelsea make a big offer certain players would be included in the deal." |

This is one thing Chelsea have been clever with. Veron wasnt settling in the premiership at all, and that would have seen his value come down considerably from the £25m that was payed out, but by loaning him out first to a league which certainly suited his style of football, it will now help them get more money and even players to part ex.
I think thats very good business indeed. |
