I think he was captain of Chelseas reserves before he went out on loan to QPR. If he's an attacking central midfielder with Brellier behind him they may work well?

I hope they do work well together Smile

I still think we need 1 or 2 more derfenders and another midfielder to complete the squad

Just a shame they have lost Jimmy Smith for 6 weeks due to injury

I wish Norwich all the best after the first game of the season when we have beat them lol.

If Earnie hadn't been injured for so long he'd doubtless have got to nearly 30 goals in the season, more than likely enough to have got Norwich into the play-offs.

With the service Cureton will get I'd be disappointed were I Peter Grant if he didn't get close to 20 goals in the Championship this coming season.

Cureton got 23 for Colchester last season and with better players around him should get close to the same again.

You boys never beat us at home so im pretty confident we have Neil Mellor who is looking class in pre season and we still have about 3 players to come in well that is what Simmo hopes anyway.

Seems there's more to it than just the photoshoot:

Quote:
"Youssef called me yesterday morning to say he was picking an agent up," said Grant. "Obviously we've got training in the morning so it was a late call for me so that disappointed me very much.
"So I still told him he had to be here for the photo at 2.30pm, and he turns up at 25 to 3. So that's why he wasn't involved. And I've told him he will be fined his wages and we will see where it goes from there. It's up to him now whether he wants to be here.
"I want people who are committed here. I've hid behind it for a long time, so many things have been going on. If you don't want to be here, it makes my decision easy."
Grant went on to say that agents working on behalf of Safri had been speaking to him virtually from the time he took over as manager expressing their client's desire to leave the football club.
And when asked by reporters whether Safri would ever play for him again, Grant responded simply: "Hopefully not."
Grant added that the club had yet to receive any official offers for Safri.

Grant's making it quite clear that he'll take no sh1t from anyone and if you don't do it his way, it's "hit the highway"!

Cureton returns
