Carrying on from the League One section because there's a few of us who have an interest in the Bees.

Signings so far for the Bees -

Lee Thorpe, John Mackie, Glenn Poole, Simon Brown, Alan Connell and Craig Pead.

Players out of Griffin Park (that I know of) -

Lee Kuffour and Andy Frampton.

We signed some guy called Giles Coke yesterday who was released by Torquay and also some former Scarborough player. Not exactly the most ambitious of signings...

Not for a while. Needs time to re-build the team and the signings aren't the greatest. Plus, they're all getting injured Mad

I cant see them getting back up this year, like you say the signings havent exactly been great, most seem to be players released from league 2 & conference clubs.if they get a good start and build up momentum ten you never know but I doubt they'll do it

Match Preview - Brentford v Mansfield

Brentford will be without summer signings Lee Thorpe and Craig Pead for new manager Terry Butcher's first league game in charge.
Thorpe is serving the second game of the three-match ban while Pead is out with ankle ligament damage.

Mansfield are missing midfielders Jonathan D'Laryea and Simon Brown.

D'Laryea is out with an ankle injury while Brown is suffering with knee trouble, so Stephen Dawson and Lee Bell are expected to start in midfield.

I hears on loan Reading keeper Ben Hamer was outstanding for Brentford today.

Two good penalty shouts turned down from what I read on BBC.

Not a bad start, but home games should be won.

He was on loan at Crawley last year looks like a real talent
