I feel for them actually, yes they had more of the ball, yes they created two chances one taken the other not. But Milans goal was extremely lucky and the second one was due to raffa the gaffa mucking up his subs.

What was the need to take of mascherano he kaka (the ultimate god of football, the bestest player ever to grace this planet Rolling Eyes) in his back pocket, why take him off and relieve kaka of his shackles.

The free kick was never a free kick kaka taking a dive, the second was a gr8 pass and ingazi stayed onside twice amazing.

Over all unlucky to reds, I just wish Milan played that badly against us in the second leg we would shat all over them.

milan played bad because rafa Benitez is the master of making playing bad the opposite team
if manchester is so much easy to beat thats not milan fault

I agree that rafa can make teams play badly...but the passing and possension retention by milan was shocking.

Fair enough you did beat us fair and sqaure and i have no issues with that, but if you played as bad as you did against Liverpool we would have beaten you.

And how exactly do you know that for sure,Milan played badly against us but still scored twice, there's no way for sure that you can be confident that United would have beaten Milan if they played as poor as the other night..

I do feel sorry for them. I can't help but think they would have scored an equaliser had the referee not ended the game prematurely. I would've been happy to see them do it. Not that I think they deserved to win, mind, but I feel the game ended too early. When the final whistle blew I was left thinking, "Wait, it can't be over! Liverpool were just about to score!"

On the other hand, Gerrard's miss earlier was so tremendously pathetic that he didn't deserve to get anywhere near the trophy after bottling it so spectacularly. Being the captain of your team is all about NOT letting down the club in such situations.

Why should we (non Liverpool fans) feel sorry for them? They've won it 5 times already so we keep hearing for the last two years. Fcuk 'em. Fcuk em in the ear! Fcuk em in the other ear!!

They're one of the worst teams to watch out of all the big sides. I felt more sorry for Arsenal last season. At least they try to play football in the right way and make a spectacle of it. Liverpool were lucky to reach the final, and in my opinion they were second best on the night, despite dominating possession. Milan created their chances - a lot of Liverpool's "chances" came from defensive errors. They did jack sh!t in the final third.

Am I the only person that thinks Milan was a better side and deserved it

Yes, yes you are.

Did you watch the post-match interview with Jamie Carragher? He agree's with me. I beleive he was asked "Did the best team win"...and Mr. JC replied "Yeah, I think thats fair"...

Doh!

Of course he did!
If he had gone out and said ''We were by far the better team, they were complete [beep!]'' then everyone would think him a big headed [beep!]. Milan were extremley sloppy with their passing and defending. Especially in the first half. They got the goal on the stroke of half time which really sent the Liverpool players heads down. Milan did improve in the second half but we didn't put away the chances we had.
