They have put their whole squad up for sale so I think they will go down. Harps will go into a play off with 2nd place in the 1st div if we finish 2nd bottom. Looks like that will be either Sligo Rvs or Dublin City. Shelbourne is our next game I think.

Yeah hes gone, I cant really see it as worse though. He hasnt done a good job this season and he doesnt know what hes doing anymore. He released Shane Bradley yesterday who has always been a good player and been really loyal.
Hopefully the new manager can get us out of trouble |

Seeing as I havent been here for 2 months a lot has happened. Basically, Andy Gorman is the new manager until the end of the season and were doing better ever since. Were 2nd from bottom now and look stronger

5-0 against Longford!!!
I cant believe it, Im surprised we actually won a game but I couldnt believe it when I saw 5-0. McHugh scored 2 more goals, 101 league goals for the club now. Were still bottom but only 3 points from safety now with a much better goal difference. |

Harps are in serious trouble both on and off the field. They are as good as down as i post this and their chairman walked out of a board meeting on Sunday night.
Sad times indeed for the club. |

Im hoping as long as we keep McHugh we will come right back up again. We won the league easily last season and went unbeaten for 7 months but I cant see why its gone so badly wrong this season. Bray and UCD who finished 2nd and 3rd havent had much trouble staying up

Here is a quote from Kevin, its not looking good for him staying at Harps - "When asked about his own future he instantly replies, “That is the million dollar question!” Before adding “Midway through the season probably shortly after Felix left the club the board approached me about signing a new contract but I told them I didn’t want to discuss it until the season is over and see how we have done and what we have done.” When he was pressed on the point he did admit “Hopefully we will still be in the Premier Division and that would certainly sway my decision. You know when you are in the First Division you give out about the lack of publicity and the pitches and sometimes you are playing away from home in front of crowds of two or three hundred. Being in the Premier Division and going to places like Cork and playing in front of crowds of 5,000 that is what it is all about.”

Well we're relegated, its been coming all season and I expected it really so im not too dissapointed. Not good news from McHugh, I cant see us coming back up without him and we can hardly afford a replacement unless we get alot of money for him.

Andy Gorman has been appointed full time manager. He has been in charge since mid way through the season until the end of the season but has now been given the job full time despite harps getting relegated.
