Ciara Grant

I'd just like to say what a great player I think Ciara and I think she's one of Arsenal Ladies unsung hero's

The games I saw last season she played in them all and made a great contribution she put a lovely ball through at the notts forrest game for one of the goals

Me & ByrneFan had a chat about Ciara via email
- how great and underrated she seems to be.

I personally rate her a lot - she's been great in the Arsenal defence,
she seems more responsible and calm than Faye White
who used to play on Ciara's position before the injury.
A solid brickwall along with Mary Phillip Keep it up girl and never leave us!

Ciara is also very nice and polite off the pitch
- like most of Arsenal Superladies

Do you consider her a legend?
Would you prefer her to Faye White? (imagining them both fully fit and on top form)

I do consider her a legend. She's been in Arsenal for ages
- working hard on and off the pitch. I hope she never leaves.

Her and Faye have a different style - Faye is an "attacking defener"
Causes a lot of fuss and trouble - not always a good thing.
Ciara is more stable and consistant. More calm on the ball

So who would would prefer then; Ciara because she's more calm?

Ciara because I trust her more.
With Faye you never know...

Hoi Agent S - I remember you telling me that Ciara wasn't at her best when I started going to games - but she certainly improved, and has been excellent for ages

I was concerned when she was down in the penalty area within the first 5-10 minutes of the UEFA Cup final as she doesn't go down easy.

Ciara had a very short moment in the 2005/2006 season
when I wasn't too fond of her game but she sure improved a lot
and I'm a big fan now.

She was fantastic last season, calm collected a cool head when needed.
Saying that I guess she won't get many games next season

Ciara had a great season , finally showing us what she can do. But I gotta agree with Shlj , I think she gonna spend most of time on the bench , and that will be a shame. I would prefer to see her in the defence rather than Faye.

I think she will go back to midfield next season and the 3 slots are taken by Jayne Katie and Kelly and also Anita might in front of her in the pecking order as well.
Shame as both of them had a wonderful season.

Faye may play in mid field a bit as she did towards the end of the season I'd like to see ciara in defence as she is calm

I thought Ciara had a cracking game in the UEFA Cup Final second leg.

An Umea player had the ball on the edge of the area and fired a shot in, then 'BAM!' it rebounds of Ciara and then another shot and then 'BAM!' off Ciara again...it was funny!

A real brick at the back though and she clears the ball well and is a clean distributer too

She is kind I wrote to her and she signed my pic and got Ludlow to and I didn't ask her to and also she sent me a letter team poster signed and team photocard.
