well mr bates what is he he looked to save us two years ago and then blackwell said in a year we will be out of debt. then we go into administration after a torid season. and all us loyal fans. needed answers and we didnt get them did we no we got sweet fa untill friday when all us bemused fans were told e were going to be deducted 15 points why o why? so now we start the season 5 defeats behind everyone. that aint good and the clubs that decide against our appeal aint going to let us off unfortunately..

And ken bates i dont like the guy and i was in th kop last season and i will be there this season singing against him. but honestly what can we do about it we can protest i have protested against it. but me personaly cant do anything but sing for the club at elland road and all over the country so i am begging my fellow leeds fans not to get on bates and wises backs but to sing for the club we all love

You have to wonder what greybeards offer for the club had over the others. I have loosely followed what has happened but I'm so fed up with the whole saga. It brings a lump to my throat. And just reacently I've stopped reading as its always bad news. But as I understand, other offers had better deals to Leeds' debtors than Bates'. But I don't know what the bids had going for them concerning Leeds internally. But Bates' bid was accepted and, to be honest, he seems to be sticking by us so he must see some kind of potential. So I hope he has some kind of 'Chelski' plan in mind. Remember when Bates took over Chelsea for a quid? Chelsea were in the sh*t, too, then. But look at them now!

As for Wise - he's working under a great deal of preassure. And, if it was decided by us fans to get on his back and get him sacked, who on earth - with any kind of decent qualifications to manage a club - would want to stand in his shoes?

I'm with you, mate. I don't get to go to Leeds games nowadays (although I'll probably get to see them v Bournemouth) but I'm sure as hell going to support the club in a positive way. Through my tears. Wink

Chelsea were on the brink of financial ruin before Abramovich took them over. he plundered all the clubs money nito renovating the stadium and building "Chelsea village" which is shops, hotels and appartments which sent the club spiralling into debt. he had no choice but to sell up.

dont think for a moment he deserves any credit for Chelsea's current fortunes

I certainly don't Steely - my point was that old greybeard got involved with Chelsea and look at 'em now; it was a vague hope that Bates sells us off to some rich billionare...

He ruins every club he is at, the sooner he goes the sooner Leeds United can think about climbing the ladder once again!

Like I said earlier, hoopy; what did Bates' offer have over the others? His was certainly not the best deal as he was only offering 8p in the £ to our debtors and others offered much more than that. Yet his was accepted. I also wonder why he is sticking by us when you would have thought anybody in their right mind would have jumped ship, financially, at the first opportunity. I'm certain he can't be after any clubs assets as we've sold them all off already! Unless Leedsplc own the real estate the ground is built on. Which is worth nowt unless the club fold and can be sold off or he intends to move us out of Elland Road. But Leeds Council own the earth that its built on, don't they?

Sh*t, I'm getting all paranoid, now Shocked
