Another fantastic result and quite a good performance against the league favorites. The result has put Stoke on top of the Championship.

When Charlton took the lead against the run of play when Andy Reid's free kick took a wicked deflection past Steve Simonsen.

The lead didn't last long though and Stoke got straight back in the game with a brilliant goal from Ricardo Fuller, an absolutely cracking finish, as good as you'll see all season, if Rooney ect had scored it we'd be seeing it for months..

It wasn't long after that when Stoke went in front, thanks to substitute Jon Parkin, another great goal, following a fantastic run by Mama Sidibe, he played the ball into Parkin, who showed fantastic skill to lose his marker, and superbly finished past the goalkeeper.

To beat Cardiff away, which not many teams do, and then to beat Charlton, the pre-season favorites, a side who was in the Premiership last season and has spent almost £6m this summer is a fantastic start to the season for us.
