The Football Association has charged Sir Alex Ferguson for his comments after the match against Newcastle.
The Red Devils boss had claimed there might be a "sinister" reason behind what he felt was a lack of spot-kicks being awarded to his team.

He reacted strongly after referee Neale Barry refused Alan Smith a spot-kick in the 2-1 Premiership win on 24 April.

The FA has given Ferguson until 26 May to respond to the charge of improper conduct against him.

I think the FA should just relax with comments like this to be honest. What is the point in fining managers for saying that? What happened to Freedom of Speech? The FA need to deal with more important issues.
