Rovers at Goodison |

Another tough fixture, but all games in the Premiership are tough and that is what makes it the greatest league in the world. In Roque Santa Cruz, Blackburn have purchased a really classy centre forward who also has great positional sense and some strength to make him a real handful. However, we are at Goodison for this one and the name of the game as always should be to make them worry about what we have going forward rather than worying to much about what they have. We need the midfield to do what they didn't really do at Reading and take the game by the scruff of the neck. We have the players who are capable in this area of frustrating anyone and really bossing possession. If we can do this and maximise our width then we should be able to cause Blackburn problems. Blackburn are not a very pacy side at the back and they should be stretchable of we can get Vic and AJ on song. If we go and put pressure on from the first whistle I think the three points should really be ours here, especially at Goodison.

Goodison is weird though. Some areas of Lower Bullens say restricted view and yet they have some of the most glorious views in the ground.

Some restricted views aren't to bad ..... so long as you can see both penalty areas .

Yeah they're not too bad. I always seem to get them seats that always block the whole goal though.
I joined Evertonia this time this season so I can get my tickets a week before the go on general sale. So here's hoping I get less of the restricted areas this season. |

Slightly off topic but ....... When I took my seat at Wembley for '95 Cup Final there was a post right in my sightline , right in the middle of the goal . Anyway , the seat next to me was unoccupied , so just before kick off , I sat in it , and that shifted the post to block out the corner of the 6 yard box , but I could now see all of the goal . Couple of minutes later a drunk bloke comes staggering down the steps and stops next to me , my "new" seat was on the end of the row . He struggled to read his ticket , he was that [beep!] , so I helpfully jumped up , pointed to my "old"seat , and said " Here you go mate , I think this is yours " . He thanked me and slumped into it . A couple of seconds elapsed then he exclaimed , " Oh bloody hell , there's a post in the way ". I said nothing . And he never cottoned on . |

Very restricted view in the lower Gwladys , I wasn't hapy , and if you'd asked me at kick-off , I'd have said let's move to Kirkby right now . |

right at the back was it?

Right at the back , behind 2 posts .
From my son's seat the posts were just to the right of the goals , my wife volunteered for the middle seat which meant she could see neither goal , and from my seat 1 of the posts was in the middle of the near goal . |
