Good question. Not sure if she'll go straight back into captaining the squad for the WC, Anita Asante and Mary Phillip may get it first.

A good article here from yesterday's Daily Mirror where the Mirror girls got absolutely thrashed 15-0 by the the England girls. There's also video footage of the action.

Considering the order of the world cup group games , I think England should play their first team against japan then give the reserves a go against germany as they will not win it anyway and put back the frist team for the decider against Argentina

That gave me a chuckle in the dentist.
So did the Mirror keep an extra player on in the second half?

I wouldnt mind getting a six-a-side team to play England Ladies. My place.
That should be interesting. Wouldnt like to predict the outcome of that one.
