Hard luck Lens, good come back for Lyon. 5 goals in 6 games for Benzema he really is on fire this season.

I'm starting to change my mind about Lyon. Maybe they do have enough quality to win Ligue 1 again. Benzema is on fire.

Marseille and Monaco (the two teams that could challenge for the title) don't seem better than them, so it's more than possible. I don't see teams like Nancy and Valenciennes keeping up with Lyon until the end of the season. Bordeaux are doing well so far and maybe they'll be able to challenge for the title.

Lyon 5-1 Metz

A first half hatrick for the 19 year old Karim Benzema who has now scored 8 goals in 7 mathces. Ben Arfa the other young gun got the 4th & Juninho scored the 5th with one of his trademark freekicks. Watch out Barcelona.

Yes it's impressive, Metz are the last of Ligue 1 but to win 5-1 away is something better that they have done at the beginning of the season. Have you watched the match ?

Benzema is on fire! He's in my CL FF team and i hope he scores a few in Europe too (but not against Barca).

Rc_Lens, i think Lyon are finding their way with Benzema up front and because of their experience these last 6 years i think they should now be considered as favorites to retain their title.

Monaco has a good team, but unfortunately for them Lyon seems to have waken up.

Domenech have let him played too late in the match against Scotland.

I still don't see Lyon winning it this year because they have a good attack but in the midfield they have lost a lot of good players. They have lost Malouda and Tiago and Abidal in the defense.
