Stoke Striker In Prison

Stoke striker Vincent Pericard has been jailed for 4 month's perverting the course of justice.

He was caught speeding in March last year, when he was playing for Plymouth, but claimed that it was his father in law that was behind the wheel.

This is excellent news, keeps him off the pitch. They should lock him up for impersonating a professional footballer while they are at it.

Though to be fair to him, the season Portsmouth were promoted he scored 9 in 18 or something like that, and a lot of Pompey fans rated him, he had a few serious injuries that kept him out for a few years, and it's obviously had an effect on him.

He has been utter garbage for us, there has the odd game where he works hard, but apart from that he has been terrible and rarely looks like scoring or threatening in any way at all. Him going into prison has been a blessing for us!

You never know, he might start knocking a few in for the prison team, get his confidence up. We could think of it as a loan spell!
