Arsenal might be without Adebayor but we still got players like Persie and Da Silva to do the work. Bendter is pleasing at the moment..he seems young but he is on the right path at the moment..
And yea , wats up with Terry ??

It's true.

This will surely be a big test to see how well we can cope without Lehmann.

I would like to see Fabianski have a chance.

Jens Lehmann is facing at least two weeks on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.

The Arsenal goalkeeper, who has made a series of high-profile errors in the opening weeks of the season, aggravated an existing problem in Germany's 2-1 victory over England at Wembley.

Arsene Wenger will now be without his first-choice goalkeeper for Saturday's Premier League clash with leaders Manchester City.

Lehmann will also miss the second leg of the Gunners' UEFA Champions League qualifier against Sparta Prague at Emirates Stadium and the home clash with Portsmouth on 2nd September.

Wenger said: "Jens is out and he will miss two weeks, I think. Maybe more. I don't know.

"He is going to see a specialist in Germany. He had this injury before but it has got much worse."

The veteran shot-stopper gifted David Healy a quickfire opener in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Fulham on the opening weekend, and was again at fault as he allowed David Dunn's shot to slip through his hands in the draw at Blackburn.

Lehmann also looked shaky at times during the Wembley victory, but England failed to take advantage, with Michael Owen particularly culpable.

Wenger will now turn to Manuel Almunia in Lehmann's absence, with summer signing Lukasz Fabianski acting as back-up.

Liverpool have confirmed that Jamie Carragher suffered a broken rib during Saturday's victory over Sunderland.

The Reds defender was taken off 15 minutes from full-time in the 2-0 victory at the Stadium of Light and scans confirmed the break along with a collapsed lung.

Carragher now seems certain to miss Tuesday's Champions League third qualifying round second leg clash with French side Toulouse.

However, the Reds should have fellow centre-back Sami Hyypia available for the European clash after it was confirmed the veteran defender suffered only a broken nose in the same match.

"Sami has a broken nose but will be available for the second leg of our Champions League qualifier," revealed a club spokesman.

"Jamie underwent a series of investigations on Sunday morning which confirmed he has a broken rib and has also developed a pneumothorax.

"He will continue to be monitored on Sunday but at this stage no further treatment will be required."

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

As long as he's back for the Portsmouth game, I'm not sure he will be though.

I doubt it with a collapsed lung? You never know though.

At least big Sami Hyypia will be available.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. There's lots of people saying they're too similar to play together but I think otherwise and feel that without a target man but two mobile players like Rooney and Tevez, Man U. will get more goals from the team than they would with an out and out goalpoacher.

Manchester United have suffered a blow after learning that Mikael Silvestre will miss the rest of the season with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Silvestre, 30, was stretchered off just before half-time in Saturday's 1-0 win at Everton after collapsing in pain.
