Live on ITV 4 so i would like people who are watching it to give their views here on mainly how our defence is coping against a worse team than any premier league team.

A game we should win if we dont we should be shot.

Well let's face it anything less than at least a two goal victory would be a dire result.

I agree floody, we need a convincing win and a quality performance in this match. We need to obliterate them. We need to score a few goals and a clean sheet is an absolute must! Should I be confident? I wish I was. Very Happy Ah sod it, I'll stick a few quid on us winning 4-0.

COYS!

thats what im concerned about we Should beat them and games we shoul win this season we have peformed weakest in apart from derby. ie the likes of:

Sunderland away
Everton away
Our defence was shocking against fulham

We were alright against Man U

So i just hope we stuff them so theres nothing to worry about in the away leg.

Anorthosis is considered to have the most complete roster of all the teams in Cyprus, but they haven't been very convincing in our league so far (they did win both games though), at least not to the degree everyone expected.

They are doing rather well in Europe so far, though.

Their most dangerous player is Sosin. Zlogar, Nikolaou, Skopelitis and Panagi are going to play in midfield (if they go for a 4-3-3 just 3 of them) the wingers/second strikers will probably be Belic and Fabinho.

They have a decent defence and Albania's international keeper, so it won't be too easy scoring against them, but i expect Berbatov and the other Spurs forwards to give them hell.

Logic says that Spurs will win this by 2-3 goals, but i wouldn't be too surprised if Anorthosis only lost by 1.

Wahey! Nice start. Smile Lovely header from Kaboul and it's great to hear the crowd sticking up for BMJ and chanting his name.

Could Anorthosis save Jol? lol

How badly are they playing anyway? I don't have access to the game.

Nice finish from Defoe - he certainly didn't have the look of a disgruntled player, he was delighted to score and the lads held him up to celebrate Very Happy

Should Defoe be given a chance ahead of Dimitar 'Lazy, luxury' Berbatov in the League do you think?

The lad obviously has a point to prove.

I expected them to put up a fight, but it seems like they just couldn't handle the Spurs' attack. Was Berbatov even playing? Probably not.

It's funny to think that Anorthosis fans here in Cyprus thought they could get a draw in WHL. lol

dw bluenose i think it just proves what i thought, we are a good attacking team more expansive than Evertons attackers, but your defence does look quite strong compared to ours.

Im confident Everton will get to the groups, but im even more confident we can qualify.

It was good to see Temuri Ketsbaia on the sideline last night as their Manager - I always remember him scoring for Newcastle in the 90's and losing it a bit - kicking the sh*t out of an advertising hoarding Laughing
