Carra-stop the pens |

Jamie Carragher has admitted he's becoming frustrated at the amount of penalties Liverpool are giving away this season.
The Reds have already conceded four spot-kicks this term, with three of them being converted by the opposition. With no goals yet being scored against Rafael Benitez's team from open play, Carragher knows the sooner Liverpool take more care with their tackles in the area then the greater their chances of picking up more points. "It is just one of those strange things that happen sometimes, we seem to be giving penalties away every game," said Carragher. "I am sure it will not continue like this. "The disappointing thing is, all the penalties we have given away have not really been goalscoring chances. "And we are not giving many chances away in open play and that is something we have got to be proud of. All we need to do is stop giving penalties away." |
