I most certainly did.

I Freakin' love that game!!!!

It's also one of my favourites ever. The last time i played that was only about 4 years ago, which isn't actually that long ago, as that game must be about 15 years old. My Grandad has an old games room you see.

Oh the Amiga days. Good times.

Ever plays The Chaos Engine, or Roadkill?

Yeah. Give me a break, ladies.

Just to clarify, i did know we were playing Reading in the Carling cup, but yesterday when i got up i was fully focused on my work, and i had a lot to do as i'd been putting it off, so i completely forgot to watch the Liverpool game. Only when i turned on my computer, and came on here did i remember it. Unfortunately that was too late.

still think Torres is a waste of money? He plays for Liverpool by the way! Very Happy

As i said before, for around £21m, he is about the best on the market when you take age into account, but he still shouldn't have been starting for Spain, and his finishing is still poor. He has a long way to go.

He is making strides in the right direction though. He has improved since joining Liverpool, and his attitude is slowly winning me over.

I can't say i like him yet though. And i generally don't let my opinion of someone change when they join the teams i support, like van Nistelrooy, who i still dislike, despite being amazing for Real last season. And then there's Bellamy, he is still a c*nt. But his attitude and performances in a Liverpool shirt were never going to change that.

Very good performing by Torres. I never imagined him scoring a hattrick so soon in England Laughing

Of course Raul. He is Spain's all time top scorer, he is back to his old self again (playing really well), and is Spain's greatest ever player. Him and Villa should start up front. But if you want Torres instead of Villa, then that will be better than Torres + Villa, because those two together are sh*te. Villa is better than Torres though, so i would choose Raul + Villa.

First choice - Raul + Villa
Second choice - Raul + Torres

er, maybe because he's Spain's greatest ever player, he's their top goal scorer ever, he is the top scorer in the Champions League, he is the top active Spanish scorer in La liga, Real Madrid's second highest goal scorer ever, one of our best players last season, and was better than Torres last season too.

Just because Torres scored a hat-trick against a pathetic defence, it doesn't mean he's suddenly a world beater.

Pathetic defence?

Coming from the person who didn't watch the game?

There were a one or two large errors of judgment but the individual performances of the likes of De La Cruz were far from 'pathetic'.

There was just one first team defender in that back five (defenders and keeper).

And a centre back pairing that never play together.

Yes, yes, i know i didn't watch it, but i watched highlights after the game, and read the comments made by you, steely and a few others. You said yourself Bikey and Dubbery can't play together.

pathetic defending.

the Arsenal back four would be turning in their grave.

floody you cant possibly condone this defensive display

Shorey and Duberry are struggling

the defending is desperate the majority of times. they are well out of their depth. that "offside trap" as an example smacked of desperation.

Sh*t that was and mistake i will admit. It seems like they were trying to catch him offside.

Duberry and Bikey have never and do not ever play together at the back. They perform well usually individually but not together

floody wrote:

Shorey needs to sort himself out... now.

I'm not saying Duberry and Bikey are pathetic defenders - i'm saying together they were pathetic against us.

As i said there were a few errors in judgment that were largely down to a lack of communication between the two central Defeders who do not play together,

Yes, and that's why i said they were pathetic. I'm sure when you field your best defence they won't be pathetic... although judging by the way they have defended at times this season (Bolton, Chelsea etc) you can't be too sure.

In not one game this season has a full strength Defence been fielded.

And in fact i think you will find Bikey was superb in the game against Chelsea.

Reading v Liverpool
