All great goals should be nominated in this thread.

At the end of the month they will be narrowed down to the best ten goals and a poll set up.

You can nominate any goal in the Premiership from 1st October onwards.

Why put it in small print anyway?

Because the key information is all that is necessary, and it was agreed that it would start from this month onwards in the other thread.

But of course, I expected somebody to come in and nominate September goals so I stuck in the small print (so that it's out of the way of the key details) for anybody who didn't know.

It was also in small print to separate the retards from the total idiots, looks like it worked.

and i think no poll should be made until the first few days of November ...or until after the last Premiership game that month is played .

Adebayor's stunner against Spurs was better than Elano's free kick in my opinion.

Elano had all the time in the world to line up that shot and he was facing the goal so he had a clear view of where to strike a dead ball.

Adebayor had to control a ball fizzed into him with his back to goal, then turn to smack the thing past the keeper, all without taking one look at goal. It's a pure striker's instinct. Even as a Spurs fan I was applauding that goal when I saw it on MOTD.

It's very early days this month but Agbonlahor's against us and Kaboul's in the same game were pretty good.

Good idea this.

But guys, keep it free of off-topic [beep!] 'cause someone's got to go through at the end and get the goals - don't make them have to trail through a months worth of nonsence. Just stick to the goals, and those of November.

Both of van Persie's goals today should be nominated. The play for the winner was cutting edge stuff, and the touch & finish was sublime.

The first was just a rocket freekick - absolute screamer.

Not seen any other goals from today's football though.
