Don't you think they would have, had Giuly let the ball to go in instead of leaving his team with 10 players so early on?

Roma is big enought to handle game with a man less. They should not have been defeated by that much. They just lost all of their attacking prowess after Giuly. You never want to do that, even when a man down. You want to make your opponents you are still strong because if you show fear they will hurt you worse then when you don't.

Inter's second goal was part luck and part Crespo's brilliant positioning (as always). Even with 11 men Roma would have had trouble stopping that. And Cruz's shot should have been stopped by Doni or a defender. It wasn't that great a shot. Cordoba's goal was also a defensive error.

So, i think that if Roma had 11 men in the game their defence would still have trouble controlling Inter's forwards, but at least they'd be dangerous in attack too and that would stop Inter from commiting more men when going forward.

For Roma, the game was lost when Giuly decided to do what he did, despite the fact they were able to equalize shortly after.

It's great to see the kind of passion still coming through veteran players who've done and seen it all before.

Crespo is fantastic.

Giuly is an eejit!

the point is, if Roma were with 11 players, Inter would have the 1-0 lead but would sit on that small advantage and play in counter-attacks, as they were already doing even when it was 0-0. I believe Roma would be able to overcome that result and possibly grab a win, as they were playing much better.

with one man more, Mancini did a smart move (which doesnt happen very often) and pushed his team forward, playin Crespo and Cruz in. Perrotta's goal was absolute luck, it felt from the sky in a parachute right onto his lap

It just shows that our mods here are not respectful of others and their league. Tut tut Wink

I think we should have an uprising and call for a revolution.

Come off it!!

Mancini is a very good manager. You don't beat the record of consecutive wins from all of the big 5 leagues and set a Serie A points record if you're a sh*te manager.

With those players I'd have achieved more than Mancini probably Rolling Eyes
