Yeah, they can. Was a close game last time, but Croatia are good at home.

Croatia will win.

I dont think Israel has a chance.
I've been to the 1st game in Ramat-Gan. It was never close. Croatia did what they wanted on the field they just lacked a little in the defense. Since than Israel has weakend and Croatia got stronger. Unfortently for me I believe it'll be a smooth 3-0 win for Croatia.

No they can't. No offence Eurxe, but Israel, although we only got a point out there, are a really poor side at the moment. very bland, unimaginative, extremely basic and a little unconvincing at the back.

I would fully expect the Croats to roll them over at home.

No offence taken, I think the same. Lousy team, we've had better. I only feel bad for Benayoun. He's surrounded by a bunch of misfits.

Benayoun is the obvious exception.

I really dont know. I was watching the Israeli U-21 team last night playing against Germany (2-2, those [beep!] robbed us of a win).
For years we have a great team U-18, a not so bad team U-21 and a lousy national team. It seems we are doing something wrong in the basics.
What I mean is that we have great players when they are young but as the time goes by we get lousy.
Our U-18 team is a regular at the euro championship, our U-21 just got to the last euro and are stable at being succesfull and yet since 1970 our national team hasnt done anything.
I think that not being part of the european union is costing us alot. Israeli players rarly get to play in the big leagues since managers have to chose them over s.americans or africans since they are considered foreigners.

Well I don't think it's going to be that easy for the Croatians, as everyone thinks .Israelis will fight and try to overcome their lack of quality which is obvious, but I predict a narrow victory for the Croats 2-1

After talking to Eurxe on MSN about the game I still think it will be a bad game for Israel. Maybe 5-2 with Benayoun gettting a double?

It was a good finish, to be fair. Got ahead of the defender to finish clinically.

I expected more from both teams,it wasn't a good game, just as I predicted a narrow victory for the croats, who deserved it no doubt about it,but still ... it seemed as a routine victory Israelis should have shown more than that.(offensively)

With the current coach you'll never see anything more in the offensive side.
Both Kashtan (the current coach) and Grant (previous one) are too defensive. We need a coach who's willing to risk defeat but will show some football.

Well, rkredsflc, you seem to have the ability to see into the future. Well done!

But think about this- without Eduardo, Irsael might have drawn with Croatia. Wink

Without Eduardo Israel would have won 3-1 in the 1st game too

Well, at least he plays for my other club, Arsenal. Confused
Is Israel still in the running? If so, what are their chances?

What are you talking about??? Without Eduardo?? If Eduardo haven't been scoring someone else would have, now it seems that Eduardo is the only player?! First of all ,all of his goals are a product of a good play by the whole team, for each goal he scored someone must have assisted him since all of his goals are from close range.Besides there are 15 goals scored by other players.
