Now Arsenal have won their group, on goal difference, after their 3-3 draw today - who will they be playing in the next round?

Brondby beat Kolbotn 1-0 and Olympique beat Sparta 2-1.

So, by my reckoning they both have 7 points and a goal difference of 3-1.
And their head to head game was 0-0.

Confused

It's ashame that Everton didn't get any further, I wasn't expecting them to but it will have been good for them to gain that experience Smile Let's hope Arsenal retain the trophy and they can have another bash at it, although it may not be them I see Chelsea or Leeds giving a good old battle Wink

Umea IK drew 2-2 with Rossiyanka tonight
- isn't it the team Fleets scored five against? Mr. Green
I'm guessing UIK are tired after the WC (well, at least the Brazilians) Wink

So I think that means Umea play Wezemaal in the q/fs and Rossiyanka play Frankfurt.

Is that right?

6.09 If, on completion of a mini-tournament, two or more teams are equal on
points, their position within the group will be established according to the
following criteria, in the order given.
a) higher number of points obtained in the matches among the teams in
question.
b) superior goal difference resulting from the matches among the teams in
question.
c) higher number of goals scored in the matches among the teams in
question.
d) If, after having applied criteria a) to c) to several teams, two teams still
have an equal ranking, the criteria a) to c) will be reapplied to determine
the ranking of the two teams. If this procedure does not lead to a
decision, criteria e) and f) will apply.
e) Results of all group matches:
1. Better goal difference
2. Higher number of goals scored
f) Drawing of lots.

It was decided by a draw I don't know the result but in france they are happy to play bardolino ?

I haven't been there for like 6 months as I did not have a passport to travel for a while.
So I am well happy to go there.
Come on Arsenal !

According to my calculations, the quarter-finals should look like this:

Olympique Lyonnais v Arsenal Ladies
Wezemaal v Umeå IK
Rossiyanka v Frankfurt
Bardolino v Brøndby

Best to wait and see what they decide though,
the uefa.com can't be arsed to update their site Rolling Eyes

If that is indeed the line-up , it looks like Arsenal have the tougher draw.

They where pretty much stuck to get it, since winner of group 1 they would have the runnerup from group 4 and group 4was the only group with 2 seeded team.

Group 4 was the group of death definitely.

No, but if they meet in the semis, the dates will almost be the same as the final games last season (March/April this season's semis) Confused

Last season the semis were around November. What's the reason for the change?
