I have not heard many of you talking about Adebayor's demi volley against Derby> If that Goal had been scored by another striker, everybody would have been nominating that goal. That goal is almost the same like that Drogba scored against Liverpool and Barcelona last season, and even better. Adebayor's demi volley against Derby for me is the best so far.

van persie free kick against sunderland

just the fact that diaby had nearly burst the net a minute before but the whistle had gone.that was extra pressure on rvp and he still crashed it in off the bar.against the most exspensive keeper in british football may i add Wink

Shouldn't we wait until November to start nominating our favourite goals of October? Or is everyone chiming in so that by the end of the month we can have a point of reference to help us remember all the goood ones?

But i do prefere the individual peices of brilliance - for example, using the goals J-Axe mentioned with Rooney and Van Persie. Rooney's was a fantastic bit of team play, but Van Persie's volley was out of this world, and those sort of goals are very rare to come by.

I guess a lot of it's personal preference.

But you see, the play leading up to van Persie's screamer was ignored. The play up to the goal was better than the play leading up to Rooney's in my opinion.

It was a precisely executed counter-attack move. Gilberto knocked it out to Hleb, who controlled it, waited for the run of Eboué and sent the ball down the line which had the perfect weight for Eboué's pace, and when he crossed it first time the ball went out of the box straight to the run of van Persie who finished it unbelievably well.

Rooney's goal consisted of three passes between him and Ronaldo, and only three Bolton players stood in the way of their play. It was good play and a nice little chipped finish but the team play of Arsenal's goal was better, as was the final strike.

But the BBC are biased and very blind. Very Happy

Definetly RVP's free-kick against Sunderland! No goalkeeper in the world would have saved that. On a biased note I like Emre's finish against Everton, a great way to mark your return!

Tomas Rosicky Arsenal Vs Bolton Wanderers.

Superb play from young Walcott, great strength composure and mazy skill, good whipped ball across and a real classy inventive finish from the little Czech.
