BLOODY HELL!

i JUST got back home from the Arsenal match

i left the house at 8am this morning

and it is quarter to one monday morning now

that's nearly 17 hours it took me to get to b'hamwood, watch the match and get home. what the hell am i doing????????

i think Arsenal ladies should give me an award for most dedicated fan ever.

anyway i want to go to bed now but i'll be back 2moro........ if i ever wake up

yeah i think everyone enjoyed it!

i got there a couple of minutes late (due to verious modes of transport failing me abismally) and looked around the pitch to see who was playing..........

and fleets was on the pitch!!!!!!!!!!!! how exciting!!!

then however............. i noticed a certain person wasnt on the pitch................. i was like 'where the hell is kelly?!'

my mates told me she was on the bench, and i was like 'how the hell do u leave kelly smith on the bench???', and was tempted to go and knock on the subs bench enclosure and demand to know what the hell vic was doing! (good job i didnt as a bit later i think i heard her say that shed got a knock earlier in the week, so it was due to injury rather than a tactical change)

anyway, we were a bit slow off the mark, it just didnt seem to be happening for us. but it was freezing so i dont blame them. then it was the 'fleets' show for a while, and she got a couple of goals on her return!

yanks had a great strike and scored and ciara grant got the other goal.

jayne 'the welsh legend' ludlow had a good game, made some good tackles and was always pushing forward to support the front two, and was unlucky to score. (think she hit the post on one occasion)

with ten minutes to go kelly and rachel mcarthur came on for fleets and ludlow. the crowd went absolutely mad when kelly came on. it seemed like there were more people than usual that had come to see her play, as she got loads more shouts than usual. (ie it wasn't just me going mental! )

as always the game improved immensely when kelly came on. she created several chances in the ten minutes she was on, looking lively, showing good pace and skill. she was unlucky not to score aswell.

final whistle = 4-0
not the most entertaining game ever but improved second half when they played a more attractive game.

kelly got absolutely mobbed by little fans after she'd got changed!

i saw her briefly as i went into the bar. was walking thru the entrance in my own little world so didnt really see her at first until she said hi as she walked past and smiled

what a legend!
