Shocking video on youtube:

If that's the case, my dream to watch el classico in Camp Nou will fade. I guess I have to watch it in Bernabeu.

What a [beep!]! That guy deserves a beating. Yes, when you beat a defenceless woman in the underground you DO deserve to beaten to a pulp. There's nothing that can be said in your favour.

It makes me angry to watch that video. And i can't believe the other guy didn't say anything, just sat there and watched.

Oh and Afrinux, don't be silly. There's racism everywhere. If it was such a common phenomenon in Barcelona's metro then the media wouldn't make such a big deal about this particular case, would they?

Thanks for the advice. I was very scared when imaging myself in that position. Poor little girl, how she must feel like right now.
When you are in a big shock, sometimes your conscience doesn't function properly. I have been preparing to visit Barcelona alone, so you might understand my feelings if you were a girl.

"Don't be silly" wasn't really my advice! lol It's just an expression. I hope that was clear.

I'm just saying that thingd like that happen all over the world. It's just that there aren't always cameras there to catch the offenders in the act.

It isn't exactly the metro of Barcelona, at least not the Metro that you will have to use to go to Camp Nou. This train goes since the center of the city to out of the city, is called Ferrocarrils catalans (catalan railways). And yes is a stupid man, all the day the medias are talking about this incident. There are stupid people in all the parts of the world. But when you go with Metro to Camp Nou don't worry that there won't be only 3 persons, then it won't happen.

Afrinux, I agree with Marios, unfortunately there are @ssholes everywhere, not only in Barcelona. That guy is as stupid as he seems, makes everyone want to kick his @ss.
Anyway, if you visit Madrid, I'll be glad to be your guide and your personal bodyguard Laughing besides I have lots of friends (one of them is 2.02m tall, so you'll be safe here). But if Barcelona win the game, try not to yell too loud or we'll have problems Mr. Green

Yeah sure, no prob Wink
However there are specific zones in Madrid where you shouldn't do that at 2 or 3am Laughing however I don't think anybody would hit a lady (other than any stupid guy like that one in the video).

I had a similar experience in Barcelona because I was wereing my Barratina, this was after El Classico and I just came out of Stants-Estacio heading along the Avinguda De Roma to the BCN Sports Bar, Putrum6 you'll know where about I mean. So anyway I was walking along the street and some Spanish men about 3 or 4 said something to me in Spanish, so I simply said Ho sento no parlo be el castilion (sorry I don't speak Spanish in Catalan) and of the men grabbed me around the neck and pinned me against the wall saying he would kill me, luckly enough he didn't but all that for wearing a Barratina and the Blaugrana is ridiculouis.

I'm not sure weather this is a big problem but even been at Camp Nou I've seen people with very right-wing views and also I've heard stuff and read a few things about the Ultra Sur being like this as well, but no surpirse there really. Also whas the whole thing with Combat Espanya I clicked on a link on youtube and all there was were these men shouting SEIG HEIL with Franco's Spanish flag.

4 Spanish guys grabbed you and threatened to kill you in the middle of Barcelona?! It sounds as ridiculous as 4 Catalans grabbing a Spanish guy in the middle of Madrid! Is that kind of thing common then?!

Here in Cyprus we often have fights between fans from Nicosia and fans from Limassol, but i've never heard of a similar thing happening.

You're absolutely right, I almost choked laughing Laughing
And that thing about right-wing people in the Nou Camp... just hilarious. You just have to see how their supporters behave, with those "Catalonia is not Spain" banners all over the stadium.
Anyway, like it or not, catalans are spanish people so they are supposed to speak spanish (although they can also speak catalan, of course, I have nothing against it since the most languages you speak the smartest you are).

although the majority reside in Barcelona... Wink

Only joking, just football banter. Although this isn't really a thread for that sorta thing.

That guy is an embarrassment to the human race, and Spain in particular. People like that are pathetic scum bags, who's right to breathe the same air as you and i should be taken away. They are not worthy. And for someone who clearly colour is an important issue, what the heck is he doing in a bright pink jacket!

Haha, that's exactly what mrtz said last night.

I've been too busy focusing on my artwork, applying to universities, and stuff like that. I haven't really had the time to spend on here, or follow football as closely as i'd like.

So, how was the Spanish section without me?

Maybe like here people just dont want to get involved ....does he have a knife ....etc . I would have given the bloke a kick and slap of my own ...but then i may have been done for assault ...
