Hello one and all!

I am a newcomer to the forums! (Have a thread in the newcomer board if interested)

I will be taking the Level 1 Coaching Certificate in September but the club for which I play is in it's 1st year after our previous club had to disband. I am one of the comitee members taking charge of training (mostly because I am taking the course soon).

I would appreciate any tips/drills/schedules/free websites/etc for pre-season training. It is a men's team, ages ranging from 17/18 - early thirties. We would like to focus on regaining fitness in the first month.

Thanks in advance!

gET FIT BY USING A BALL, NOT JUST DOING SHUTTLES, THATS OLD STYLE TRAINING. TRY 2V2 IN A 30 BY 20 YD GRID, HARD WORK, PLENTY OF TOUCHES, HELPS TECHNIQUE.

i know tips are useful but good coaches are creative. try to plan your own session and be creative with your drills/exercises because only you know what your players need and how they will respond. however im not trying to say tips arent useful. they come in very handy sometimes.

good luck

ps djasha is dead right. i think its great if you can combine two things in one drill (in this case fitness and technique) kinda kills two birds with one stone.
