Bradford on paper are the obvious winners, but mathces arent won on papaer are they (lol got that off FIFA07). But seriously, Bradford should be looking to get their season back on the right track and making a big impact on the Coca-Cola League 2, which they havnt done quite yet.

Transfer News:
The Bantams are in talks to seal the signing of Chilean striker Willy Topp.
The 21-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Universidad Catolica, and he has been training with Bradford for the last few weeks.

Topp has now done enough to convince manager Stuart McCall that he is worthy of a contract and talks are ongoing.

Bradford's poor start to the season continues as they were humbled at home against Accrington. 3-0, a poor loss after the Bantams looked positive before the match.

The visitors wasted little time in taking the lead at Valley Parade when Roscoe D'Sane fired home after two minutes, before he added his second half an hour later and Andrew Procter (61) secured the points.

Bradford have now lost their last three games, and now face another fierce challenge against competition leaders Milton Keynes who beat Mansfield, 2-1 who are at the bottom of the league.

Bradford are on 10 points after playing 9 Games with 3 wins and a draw, the rest losses.

Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu would be happy to stay at Bradford until the end of the season.
The striker, who joined The Bantams on loan from Gillingham in the summer, is scheduled to leave Valley Parade in January.
Ndumbu-Nsungu has scored four goals in eight appearances for Bradford and is looking to extend his loan deal with the League Two side.
"I would be pleased to stay here. It's always good to go somewhere people welcome you and make you feel good and I've got that at Bradford," he told the club's official website.

"I'm playing games, scoring goals and enjoying being involved with the boys. I'm happy where I am.

"Nobody from Gillingham has spoken to me, but I don't look to see what is going on there. I'm concentrating on only one team at the moment and that's Bradford.

"We'll see what happens in January, but I would be happy if I could stay here."

mate thats not what us yorkshire lads are about.. we dont give in wen the going gets tought.. and thats good coz it can get any tougher for us!.. all they need is a confidence booster.. its not easy having the pressure to dominate a league like bradford should be!

Bradford City boss Stuart McCall admits he has been impressed by what he has seen of striker Willy Topp, but is yet to make a decision on whether to offer him a contract.

Chile international Topp, 21, is on trial at Valley Parade, and made a good impression on his only appearance for the reserves, scoring against Coventry.

And, while McCall has been pleased with Topp's ability and attitude, he wants to use have a closer look at the player in training before making a decision on Friday.

"I'm probably going to have a look at him in the training sessions before making my mind up," he told the Telegraph & Argus.

"I've quite liked what I've seen of him as a player and a person. He wants to come over here and be a success."

after City's loss to MK Dons their season looks doubtful even though MK are top of the table.. the bantams need a good run of games over the next month for any hope of success!

The Bantams now face 11th placed Morecambe on Friday the 12th of October. City now placed 21st in the Coca-Cola League 2 competition have 10 points from 10 games! NOT GOOD!

City need to ensure they can win to remain with any chance of propelling back upto the League 1 competition.

Two minutes before half time Bradford City got themselves in front courtesy of Mark Bower's instinctive header. Garry Thompson equalised for the home side on 64 minutes when he rifled home a smart cut-back and Carl Barker then completed the turnaround when he took advantage of poor Bradford defending to slide home on 90 minutes.

Thats a shambles.


What has happened at Valley Parade?! I remember traveling up there just a few years ago!

Dagenham, who have plummeted down the table after losing five of their last six games, are without Sam Saunders, Ross Smith, Dave Rainford and Lee Goodwin due to injury.

Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu is suspended for Bradford but Jamaica internationals Donovan Ricketts and Omar Daley will play before heading out to take on Guatemala.

Bradford are slight favourites for the match but Dagenham could come away with the points quite easily too.
