Didnt really watch the game but as usual we messed up after taking the lead. Good to finally see Keane have a decent game

I didn't see the game, but have since seen the kit Ireland were wearing - I guess it must be their new away kit? It was like a dark grey, quite unusual - I'd not seen it before... |

Yeah it was strange to see that..why didnt they just use the green kit seeing as Wales were wearing red?

Only watched the last 15 minutes or so in the pub. Not a penalty IMO, the challenge/pull was made outside the box but the Welsh player fell down inside it. Not that it actually matters though I suppose
Oh and Sparky the grey kit it is the 3rd. Quite nice but kind of strange to have a 3rd kit for a country but then again it's Ireland I suppose |

Its was an agreement with Umbro. They have the kit since they got their new white & green one's but choose not to wear it or release it as they'd be seen as money grabbing barstewards. Due to a contract between the FAI & Umbro, they had to wear all 3 kits during the qualifying campaign or face a heavy fine. So they left it until the final game.

Ahhh right. I don't think there's anything wrong with an International team having a 3rd kit, I just thought it strange to wear it when it was not needed (plus I hadn't seen it before) but the above explains all... |
