Will be a tough game but with the home advantage I hope we pull through!

Arsenal

Actually the home advantage is a disadvantage in case of a score draw.
I think the first team who will score will win it, because Borehamwood is a small picth that favors
defensive football.

Lets hope there's a good crowd despite England playing tonight.

There will be a minimum of 4 or 5 Lyon supporters at the game and I've been told there might a world cup runner-up at the game as well.

It's gonna be a very tough game and the usual cocky supporters we have are in for a rude awakening Laughing
You hear some disrepectful comments about other teams at games, well at least it will be very inteersting to watch.

Eh non, victory for OL 3-2
As I told everyone here OL is a very good team with international players only.
[beep!] weather and [beep!] pitch did not help.

And the girls probably put up more of a fight.

It's a shame they can't go further but when you don't score away it's always gonna be tough Sad it sounds like the conditions didn't help much. Shame the game wasn't postponed.

Was there a big attendance ?

I'd say between 200 and 300 , quite a good one with such a [beep!] weather and England mens at the same time. And I got in for free complimentary ticket from Lyon Cool

I am on a French womens footie website and they put me in contact with the OL manager to help him find the ground and his way around London. One of his mate came for the game and met me at the gates and told me he had a few spare complimetary so I got in for free.

it's only 2 £ though.
Back to the game, the girls lost for 3 main reasons:

- quality of opposition's skills and game plan
- pitch waterlogged that does not allow the usual passing game
- general tiredness of the team

There gonna be even more tired with the back log of matches they've got next month. I wonder how long Katie Chapman will be out for , she's already withdrawn from the England squad.

I was surprised the game wasn't postponed due to the state of the pitch , if it had been a league game I'm sure that would of happened.

I must say I was hoping for the game to be abandoned Sad

I'm starting to get worried - when I went in the bloke said "Concession is it? after I showed my season tic, and I only paid £1

I was a bit knackered after the long drive, but.....

Anyway - here's a pic of their coach (the bus, not the manager Laughing)

I also took a pic of what was written on the side - but I'm not a good photographer - it said "L'equipe" (I think) above the names there:
